SICK PUPPIES AND TWISTED COSTUMES
Well, Halloween has come and gone so now we're in phase 2 of my favorite time of year: No Shave November and Thanksgiving, a holiday for my favorite pasttime, overeating! But, before I can move forward, I must first look back and reflect on my Halloweek!
The first big thing was our P1 Lounge with Sick Puppies at SIP Whiskey & Wine Bar in downtown Greenville. The event was set up on their rooftop lounge area overlooking Main St. so it was a super cool setup! The band was great and very gracious with the staff and listeners. They performed four acoustic versions of songs from both their landmark album Tri-Polar and their new album Fury then hung around to answer questions, take pics and sign autographs.
Be sure to check out the rest of the pics and videos here on the website!
Aside from the P1 Lounge, I was also out and about on Friday at Benson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Greer and Saturday at Wild Wing Cafe in downtown Greenville for their annual Hallowing Party! For the latter, I rocked my LEGO Twisted Todd costume from last year and Tessa used her makeup skills to create a scary ghoul face!
Her makeup was so creepy that someone came up to her and told her that their friend was too scared to walk by her to get to the restroom! That led us to seriously contemplate entering her into the costume contest. Not for prizes but for bragging rights. However, by the time my broadcast was over, the upstairs area was so crowded we could not find a seat. Plus we were both tired and hungry and she couldn't eat there because, as you can see, her makeup would have prevented her from doing so so when went home.
Now that that is out of the way, it's time to look forward to hitting the studio with my band, Burn the Cynic this weekend as well as heading to Charlotte Saturday night to see Ghost live! Good times!
