Categories: for my Buccaneers to make the playoffs and for this crud to get outta my head! Last week I was fighting off a Christmastime cold which made being on air a lot of fun since I lost my voice for a few days! One of those days, Wednesday to be exact, I did a mini career fair at Chesnee High School. I love working with kids as I had originally entered college planning to be a high school math teacher.

This weekend I tried to rest and recuperate as much as possible. Tessa's mom came down Saturday and we took in a movie as we went to see the new animated Disney film, Moana. It was a really cute movie and made my wife want to move to Hawaii even more! Afterwards, we tried to look at holiday lights but lines were insanely long so we decided to wait and go next week while I am on vacation.

Sunday was the first band practice since we were in the studio a month ago. It was also the first practice since Moon had his near death experience. As a whole, we were a bit rusty but that was to be expected however we had a newfound intensity as Moon was in better health and livelier than he has been since this band started! Expect great things to come from Burn the Cynic in 2017!

Last night was the Shinedown and Five Finger Death Punch show at Bon Secours Wellness Arena. It was great getting to see a ton of Planet listeners out in force!

I didn't stay for the entire show because I am trying to save my energy for all the work I have to do this week so I can be off next week and for Trans-Siberian Orchestra at BSWA on Friday! Then we venture down to Tampa to see my Bucs take on Tessa's Saints! Right now they are tied with the Falcons for first place in the NFC South! Not sure how long that will last since the rest of Atlanta's season is a cakewalk while Tampa Bay takes on the 11-1 Cowboys on the 18th! But, the way I see it, I didn't expect them to beat the Chiefs but they did. I didn't expect them to beat the Seahawks but they did! And you have to figure that Dallas should lose at least one more game during the regular season and keep it together during the playoffs, may as well be to the Bucs!
