May 4th may get all the credit for being Star Wars Day, but now Papa Roach is taking over the day before in their Vacaville, CA hometown. Dubbed “Papa Roach Day,” today’s celebrations are meant to honor the band’s contributions to the community and various charities as well as celebrate their success.

Today, Vacaville Mayor Len Augustine will officially dedicate May 3 in Vacaville to the band at Imagine That!, a new, hands-on learning center for kids. Papa Roach will be there to encourage kids to be fearless in their creative endeavors, as the center’s exhibits seek to promote creativity, imagination, and a love for arts and sciences. The Shaddix Family Charitable Fund, established by Jacoby and Kelly Shaddix, supports multiple charities and also helped to support Imagine That! exhibits.

The ceremony takes place today (5/3) from 4 – 5:30 PM PT.

Papa Roach recently shared the below official music video for “Help” and lyric video for “American Dreams.” Both songs will be featured on their upcoming release, Crooked Teeth, due out May 19.
